When we concern ourselves with carbon emissions, we are looking at carbon being added to the atmosphere by means of fossil fuels harvested from within the crust of the planet. Burning wood only recycles carbon that would otherwise be found in nature and expelled into our atmosphere eventually anyway. It surprisingly does not add to our carbon footprint! I know thats surprising, but I heard a climatologist stating that the other day.

what happens if i stored this some how in a old fire extinguisher bottle and compress it could i make a blo torch?

They did this in WW2 to power their autos when there was no gasoline. Cap n Trade may force people to do this sort of thing.
